THE BARBER SHOP QUARTET CO.

MEN'S PERSONAL CARE RANGE

This series of men's personal care products was designed for a fictitious brand intended to be positioned as mass-market but high-quality. Both the logo and each item use stripe motifs to reinforce the brand name: the former is meant to evoke the shirts commonly associated with late 19th- and early 20th-century barber shop quartet singers, while the latter is quite obviously the design of a traditional barber's pole.

My primary role in the three-person team responsible for this project was to transform broad ideas and rough sketches into finished products. Specific tasks included refining the logo, helping select typefaces, extracting and retouching the pen illustrations from raw scans, final layout of each product, and crafting each finished piece.
